Trip Summary

This stairway to the beach was a very short distance from our campsite

This trip was taken close to home to give Lynn a chance to experience traveling in a motorhome for the first time. Our trip would take us to the Half Moon Bay State Beach where we had a campsite reserved for a stay of 4 days. This place was chosen so that we would be close to home if we needed to leave early. I had made our reservation online where I was able to select a specific seaside campsite. We would find the view to be fantastic.

We had exceptionally good weather for winter in February. With that said, we did have rain during the second night and a slight sprinkle one afternoon. However, times when we were exploring the area we had good weather.

Even though we had to head for home a day early, this was another in a long list of fun RV trips for me and a first for Lynn.
